Rubber seal around the engine lid lock of the VW Beetle from 08/1971, OEM number 111 827 517B. The seal keeps water and dirt out of the lock opening in the engine lid and hardens over time, resulting in leaks. It is fitted around the lock cylinder when the lock mechanism is removed.
