Vewib set of German quality with the horizontal seal around the engine and the vertical seal between the firewall and the engine for the VW Beetle, Karmann Ghia and Type 181 from 08/1965, with OEM numbers 111 813 705D and 111 813 741G. The seals separate the engine compartment from the cooling air under the car, so that hot air is not drawn in again and the engine keeps its cooling air. Replacement is needed when the seals are hard, cracked or missing, which is often the case when rebuilding or refitting the engine.
