Contact point set for the ignition distributor system of the VW Beetle up to 12/1953 and the VW T1 Bus up to 04/1960, with OEM number 111 998 051. The points open and close the primary circuit of the coil and, together with the condenser, determine the ignition timing. Replacement is usually done together with the condenser during maintenance of the distributor.
