Starter motor 12V with 2.0 kW power from Compu-Fire for the VW Beetle and Karmann Ghia from 08/1966, the VW T1 and T2 Bus 08/1967–07/1975 with 1600cc engine, Type 3 and Type 181. The higher wattage gives more torque when cranking, which helps with engines with increased compression or larger displacement.
