Half-moon retainer for the axle shaft of the VW T1 Bus, Beetle and Karmann Ghia, with OEM number 113 517 191. The plate secures the axle shaft in the rear axle housing and prevents it from shifting axially. Replacement is common during a rear axle rebuild or when there is play on the axle shaft.
