Rubber dust boot for the steering box of the VW T3 Bus 05/1979–07/1992, OEM number 251 419 831A. The boot seals the steering rod at the entry to the steering box and keeps dirt, water and sand out of the gear mechanism. Replacement is common as soon as the boot cracks or hardens.
