Right rear brake backing plate for the VW T3 Bus 05/1979–07/1992, OEM number 251 609 426D. The plate carries the wheel cylinder and brake shoes and forms the fixed mounting point on the rear axle. Replacement is required in case of corrosion or distortion of the shoe locating points.
