These pipes form the connection between the heat exchanger and your heater flap - so without them - you won't have a warm cabin. The set consists of two elbows (071 256 051 and 071 256 052) that fit perfectly on T2a - T2b - and T2 - T3 models. They are easily replaceable and often needed because the original plastic elbows become brittle or start leaking after decades. Combine this with a new heater flap or heat exchanger if you are already working on the heating system.
