Right bumper bracket on plate for the front bumper of the VW Beetle 1953–1960. The steel part connects the bumper to the body and absorbs the forces acting on the bumper horns. In case of corrosion or deformation after a collision, replacement is necessary to be able to align the bumper straight again.
