Fits the VW Beetle and Type 181. The rubber strap for your rear seat should exert a significant amount of force - otherwise - the seat will slide around while driving. This original VW strap (111 885 583) is 16 centimeters long and keeps your rear seat neatly in place - exactly as it should. For T1 Beetles - this is a standard repair - as the original straps simply wear out after decades. Combine this with new rear seat hinges if you're already working on it.
