Fits the VW T1 Bus, Beetle, Karmann Ghia and Type 3. This control mechanism provides the connection between your heater knob and the control slide in the engine bay. It is the weakest point in many classic VW heating systems: after decades - the wires wear out and your knob comes loose in your hand. The original Volkswagen mechanism (111 711 681+671A+675+677+N13 328 1+N 13 216 1) has been completely reconditioned and is ready for use - so you no longer have to reach into the engine bay by hand. Combine this with a complete heating repair kit for a properly working system.
