Gear lever base for the VW Beetle from 10/1952 and Karmann Ghia, with OEM number 111 711 105A. The base is mounted on the centre tunnel and forms the pivot point on which the gear lever hinges. Replacement is common in case of play in the gearshift or corrosion at the mounting point.
