Operating rod for the accelerator pedal of the VW T1 Bus 03/1955–07/1967, with OEM number 211 721 615. The rod forms the mechanical connection between the accelerator pedal and the throttle linkage towards the carburettor and wears at the pivot points due to the continuous movement. Replacement is necessary in case of play, a slow-responding pedal or seizing.
