BBT Silver Weld sheet metal. These rubber buffers surround the torsion springs of your tailgate - preventing them from directly hitting each other. After years in the sun - they become hard and brittle - causing your tailgate to rattle and the springs to wear out faster. The original VW part number 211 829 147B is hard to find - but we have them in stock. Combine these with new torsion springs yourself if you're already working on it.
